Their new homes await them with air conditioning switched on. They will shortly be moving to brand new kennels and accommodation, when it is finished.
They will not start training until after Ramadan & Eid that Will be middle of Sept. When it cools slightly, I will send pictures of the dogs in new environment.
On a personal note I have a small Lab back in UK that we may bring out, what would be rough costings. He has current pet passport etc.
Thanks for that and all the help you have provided over the last three months I will contact you when they arrive in Abu Dhabi.
Further message, dogs arrived at Abu Dhabi last night and all the paperwork went well, though at the usual speed out here. They are all fit and healthy, but tired. Except for Tara who wanted to play, eventually got them to kennels at midnight (2100BST). Where they were greeted loudly by about 150 dogs, good for the neighbours, no one dares complain.
I have been to the kennels early this morning (On my day off). All dogs looking well and very happy to see someone who speaks English (Well Bristolian).
I will let them rest over the weekend and on Sunday I will start to introduce them to the environment. Tess said thank you for the card.
There hopefully will be more dogs to come from the UK in the near future

Just thought I'd send a couple of pics of Rosie settling into her new home in Doha; she's now very much at home, enjoying all the new places to curl up and sleep, coping well with the heat (she goes out for a few mins at a time in the day in the garden, especially enjoying the windier days like today). She enjoys her walks around the neighbourhood & over to the sandy scrubland near our house where whe likes to chase birds (they are too quick for her, which is good!) and meet other dogs being walked. We now have a lovely new picket fence and gate at the end of the back garden so it is escape proof - all for Rosie!

It was all a bit of a rush at the Swissport end. We were there in plenty of time, the reception obviously did not advise the government vet or the warehouse that we had arrived and were waiting to be called. However he went in without a problem and after some rapid form filling he was whisked away." |

"We cannot thank Christine and her team at Whitehouse Kennels enough. We were very worried about flying our 11 year old greyhound Dusty and our 12 year old lurcher Sparky to New Zealand - especially as it is such a long journey and Dusty is such a sensitive greyhound. Christine and her team were absolutely brilliant with us - making sure we completely understood everything and putting our minds at rest about the whole process. Right from the start it was clear that Christine really cares about the dogs, their needs and their owners needs! They built great boxes for our two boys, guided us through all the vet checks and had the most fabulous chap come and pick us all up to take us to the airport.
It was so reassuring to know that Christine and her team were on first-name terms with the vets at Heathrow and understood the whole process inside-out. Dusty and Sparky arrived tired, hungry, desperate for a tree/bit of grass but other than that absolutely fine. They were of course ecstatic to see us again.
If you need to fly your dog somewhere then we totally recommend Whitehouse Kennels. Thank you."

Tthanks for your message and the new home card!!! Mika has arrived safe and sound a little bit shaken but she was good as gold – went straight in to the box and laid down like a good girl!!! She knew we were up to something with a house empty and nothing left and our suitcases packed!!! Everything went really well – early start but we dropped Mika off early morning.
Everything was fine just paid the handler 20 euro and they let us have Mika straight away – love her - she was sooo good just a bit sick when we let her out of the box bless!!
With regards to the move we are all here safe and sound and just settling in and unpacking slowly – its hard to believe its November and the sun is shining and the temperature is still 18 – 22 c so glad we have made the move and starting to unwind and relax. Once again you have been brilliant sorting everything out for us and my thanks again I will highly recommend you to friends and family – as when they come and visit us they will probably all want to move to the sunshine.

“Hi Christine apologise for the long delay in getting back to you but we have only managed to get our broadband connected here in lefkada! Many thanks for the expeditious handling of our little fella! He had a great trip (we think) and arriving in Athens seemingly none the worse for his adventures. The crate was comfortable, he elected to spend the whole of the road trip from Athens to lefkada in it (pee breaks allowing of course).
Keith, your airport man was extremely helpful and telephoned us when he had successfully put Findlay through the ‘doggie’ departure gate which was reassuring for Debbie as she had been worrying about this side of things during the build up to the trip.
We have settled into our new lifestyle and Findlay is particularly happy as he gets at least three long walks a day, something we never managed in the UK with us both working. Weather here is a bit ‘iffy’ although until this week has been very nice in fact quite ‘balmy’ but they did have a very hot summer. We’ve got a whole five months to prepare ourselves for that next year, by then we shall all be fairly well acclimatised.
Once again many thanks to you, your staff and continued success to white house kennels, we will endorse your services without hesitation it given the opportunity!

Her month in Sydney flew by and a friend flew up with her over a week ago now.
She is now crashed out in the back garden, enjoying the sun.

Sorry its been a little while before you are hearing from me but its been hectic here but i would like to let you know that everything is great with the dogs, keith did phone me at the airport when he arrived to reassure they were fine , thank him for that , they were the only pets on the flight so they were the biggest topic on the plane between the staff and other passengers we were inindated with questions about them!!!!!!!! . on the other side the crew on the plane told us they were fine and having some water!! it sounded worse than it was going out of the airport and going back but the premises are only 5minutes away and the whole process took around 30 minutes, the dogs were great ,excited but fab, thankyou for all that you did and the care and commitment you gave us it was a stressfull time for us and not to have the worry and stress about the dogs was apprecited!!! stan & roly thankyou themselves , we will certainly recommend your company , a big thanks again

Just to let you know Billy has finally arrived at our new home in Buddina on the Sunshine Coast!
Billy is very healthy and it's really like he's never been away!
It's very hot and humid here with
temperatures at night not falling below 70f and up to 90f+ during the day! We
are sure that Billy will soon get used to all the heat, he can always jump in
the nearby sea or rivers to cool down! We really want to say a big THANK YOU for
your help in getting Billy all this way to the other side of the world. It seems
to have been harder for us than Billy.
It's almost bedtime here now and Billy
is fast asleep as usual on our bed! Hope you had a good Christmas and New

Lara has arrived safely and in very good condition. It was a very emotional reunion on all our parts. When we arrived to collect her she looked at us for a couple of seconds and then realised who we were and went crazy! Her tail was going like mad and she was jumping everywhere. We couldn't believe how well she looked!
We have now returned to our house and after spending a few minutes investigating everywhere and having a good old 'nose' about she settled on her new bed and went flat out! I had forgotten how loud she snores - we couldn't hear the TV.
We would like to thank you all for the obvious good care you took of our precious Lara as she seems to have come out of this experience relatively unscathed, which we are sure is due to the care she was given during her time with you. We are eternally grateful to you and will be recommending you to everyone we know and writing about you on the emigration blogs.
