The Tour De Woof

Beginning December 12 2011, Sahara sets out on a journey to support a cause close to her heart and ours! Sahara is going to travel around mainland Australia visiting and raising awareness for animal rescue shelters.

For every kilometre she travels, Jetpets will donate 10 cents to an animal rescue organizations in Australia, which will go a long way in assisting many other animals in similar situations to Sahara's this time last year.

As Sahara has never been around Australia before she will also visit some major landmarks along the way.

Sahara's exciting travels saw her depart Melbourne for Sydney, then on to the Gold Coast (including taking in Brisbane,) Townsville, Darwin and Perth before she returned home to her Jetpets family in Melbourne.

We believe Sahara undertaking this journey will raise the profile of the plight of the rescue shelters across Australia and the many animals that they handle, who generally rely on support from sponsors and the local community only.
